Pool Time!

Ben got his first pool the other day. We finally had some free time to fill it up for him. I didn't get a lot of pictures from tonight, but I'll post more tomorrow. You can see that he wants his bathing suit off. He really did have a fun time. He kept saying "doggy" b/c he wanted Annie to swim with him. He loved having his Uncle Cliff (or as Ben says, Kiff) playing with him too. More pics to come!

Memorial Day

Brian, Ben and I really enjoyed our three day weekend. We got a lot done around the house and got hang out with some great friends of ours. They have a little girl, Elisa, that is just a couple months older than Ben and they go to the same daycare. She is pretty much the cutest, funniest thing ever! They really played so well together. It was such a nice evening, we actually got to all sit outside while the kids played. Now back to reality!!

Air-brushed

Does anyone remember those air-brushed shirts people used to wear in junior high? They would say best friends or so and so is great. I never had one, just like I never had a hyper-color t-shirt, but I survived. Anyways...Brian and his fellow fourth grade teachers decided to make shirts for the last week of school. Brian basically air-brushed 75 t-shirts in two days. He brought home the smallest one for Ben. Ben loved the shirt. We finally had to take it off of him b/c he kept tripping on it. :)

Blessed

Brian and I are really blessed to have an AWESOME lady take care of Ben in her home. She has about 6 other kids in addition to Ben. Every year she has this little banquet for the parents. They sing songs, read books, and then everyone eats the best BBQ I've ever had. I am so grateful to have a wonderful, compassionate, Christian woman watching our son. He has made some sweet friends. Here are some pictures from the graduation. He refused to sit down at first and was all over the place. He finally settled in. :) Sorry the pictures aren't that great...I had the camera!

Center of everything!

Sprinkler Fun!

Last night was Brian's turn to bathe Ben. I needed a little break after dinner, so he took Ben outside. Five minutes later he was yelling for me to bring the camera. Ben played in the sprinkler for the first time yesterday evening. He had so much fun! He would back into it, scream, run away. Then he would come right back. He also tried to catch water in his mouth so he could spit it out...Thanks Dad and Grandmom! Brian counted the hour spent in the sprinkler as his bath. Here are some pictures of the fun!

Border-line Obsessed

So I'm border-line obsessed with several blogs now (Thanks Naomi!). I thought I'd jump in and do it for our family. I think it will be a great way to stay caught up with everyone!
